21st Century Clone-ialism – Help Stop It

I have recently been made aware of an extremely important issue and feel I need to spread the word. The human cloning debate really is the issue of our times. Creating human clones for research purposes is another way for the wealthy and powerful to dominate another class of individuals.

Right now, the debate on human cloning is heated in both public and government circles. The U.S. Senate will vote on a cloning bill next month and the United Nations is considering a partial ban on cloning. Generally speaking, most people are adamantly opposed to “reproductive” cloning. The debate really starts with what is described as “therapeutic” cloning. This is a process by which human clones are created, experimented upon and ultimately destroyed for research purposes. We are talking about the creation of an entire class of individuals who will be manipulated and destroyed at the whim of the wealthy and powerful — 21st century colonialism! Many of our elite senators want to allow this new brand of clone-ialism. We need to stop this assault on human dignity.
