I apologize if I am not going through the right channel to obtain information about employment.

I am a student from UMass Amherst and also an employee of the local college daily there, The Massachusetts Daily Collegian. As you may already know, it is a student-run paper. I am a student of class 2003 in UMass Amherst.

I am attending UMass Boston for summer classes and was wondering if I could obtain a position as a photographer in The Mass Media. I have been shooting news and sports for the Collegian and posses my own digital equipment. I am familiar with digital and press photography techniques that are involved in publishing.

Please let me know if there are any positions available in the photography department of The Mass Media. If any further information is needed, I will gladly include them in a corresponding email.
