The hot air around her caused her to lose massive amountsof perspiration within minutes to the point of death. This is heat stroke. Joan repeatedly said the name of Jesus in a loud and clear voiceright up to and including the moment she bowed her head to her chest and wasthereafter quiet and still. Witnesses were convinced this was the moment ofher death. This would be impossible if Joan were burning at that moment. By breathing in the hot air, which was being indirectly warmed by the stilldistant fire, Joan introduced heat into her lungs, warmed the blood there, andinstantly began to perspire profusely.
