William Tucker -SculptorProfessor of Art, Bard College

William Tucker will discuss his life as an artist, writer and critic, and his work, as it has evolved from the 1960’s to the present. Tucker is among the leading contemporary sculptors of international reputation, with work in numerous collections including the Tate Gallery in London and recently, the new Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain.

UMB is fortunate to have four of Tucker’s sculptures on campus as part of the Arts on the Point collection, and a series of drawings, models and photographs, some never shown before, which will be exhibited in the Healey Library 5th Floor Gallery through April 5th.
