Donate Your Rice Cooker

I’m sure that a lot of you students use a rice cooker, as my friends did. After seeing this, I too got a rice cooker. Actually, I bought it from one of my friends before they left the country.

It sure saved a lot of time, and money. One 20 pound bag of rice sure went a very long way. And it was less than ten dollars. What value! Add some stir fry, and you are full.

Recently, I noticed yet another homeless person. It was a mother with a number of kids, and I gave her something. That night, while shopping, I bought a second 20 pound bag of rice to split up for the food bank. I only wished that I could donate a used rice cooker also.

I’d like to encourage all of you who are moving away, and might sell your rice cooker, to please donate it to the food bank. A nice touch would be to include any rice that you might have left over.

It is just a little something from you, but will make a huge difference in someone else’s life.

Thank you,Rodger Lepinsky
