For Quazi Sadruzzaman, this was nothing new.

The 5-foot 7-inch junior from Medford, Massachusetts captured his third straight Little East Conference Flight One title at the LEC Tennis Championship on Saturday May 3. He became the first player in conference history to accomplish the feat while capping off a terrific singles season. Barring an unforeseen injury, Sadruzzaman has a chance to win a fourth title in his senior year.

Overall the men’s team finished third out of four teams in the tournament with 7.5 points. No other championships were captured in either singles or doubles play.

The team had a streaky season for first year coach Steve Courtemanche with a final record of 5-3. The team will return next year without the services of seniors Cole Morrison and Mark Bailey.
