Rodney Bender, Director of Constituent Services for House Speaker Tom Finneran, thanks UMB Water Watch Chapter Coordinator Erin Dougherty and assembled volunteers for their “Make a Difference Day” efforts on Saturday, October 25. Thirty-eight volunteers gloved up to clean the Neponset and its banks, picking up 60 bags of trash, plus 6 tires, 2 bikes, an entertainment center, a microwave, a speaker, and a toilet.
