The UMass men’s soccer team traveled up to Maine on Saturday for their first road game of the 2003 season. Coming off their big win over Newbury College on Thursday they were able to maintain their momentum. They beat Saint Joseph’s 2-0 in lobster land, which improved their record to 3-0. After this win the Beacon’s had outscored their opponents by an average of more than four goals. On September 16 they faced Mass Maritime at 3:30pm on Clark Athletic Center Field. Their first Little East Conference game will be a Saturday home game at 1pm, September 20, when they face Keene State. The Keene State Owls are 3-3 thus far on the season. The match against UMass will be their first conference game as well. Come out and support UMass Athletics. Go Beacons!!
