The Mass Media is now accepting applications for the 2004-2005 Editorial Board

Nominations for the elected members of the Editorial Board shall be open to any student who submits an application to the Editorial Board provided that:1. Applicants for the position of editor-in-chief and managing editor shall have served at least one semester as a member of the Editorial Board and2. Applicants for all other positions on the Editorial Board shall have served at least one semester (or for three issues) as a member of the general staff.

If interested, please drop off application at the offices of The Mass Media Campus Center, 2nd floor, 2300 Street, Attn: Jason Campos, Editor-in-Chief or e-mail application to [email protected] by Friday, April 23, 2004. Applications will be kept on file for review by members of the general staff in The Mass Media offices for two weeks prior to the elections. The names of nominees will be made public at least one week before the elections.

Applicants should appear at the Friday April 30, 2004 Editorial Board meeting for election interviews.

Please note:Prior to the election, the Editorial Board may reserve the right to reject any applicant they deem inappropriate.

Newly elected officers will act as apprentices for the last two issues of the newspaper of the semester.
