Political Parties Indifference to the American Worker

The Bureau of Labor Statistics claims that our nation has lost 1.5 million jobs since March 2001. President Bush’s economic and trade policies are largely responsible for that.

Now I have learned that hundreds of thousands of unemployed workers will be without income because the senate was ONE VOTE SHORT of passing an extension on federal unemployment benefits in May 2004. And whom do you think that absent vote belonged to? Senator John Kerry. That’s right, Mr. Kerry was the only senator to miss voting because he was much too busy campaigning in Kentucky.

I’ve had it with both political parties. I’m voting for Ralph Nader.
