Kayla Shea, age 8, wins the Beacon Kid’s Fun Run, part of the Beacon Dash, which took place last weekend. Michael Forcier, Jr., son of Sodexho General manager Michael Forcier, won the boy’s division. The Beacon Dash is an annual event held to benefit the Early Learning Center, and a good time was had by all. The rce is 5k, twice around the harbor campus. Damian Kellog, science teacher from N. Quincy High, was overall winner at 16min. 30sec. and Stephanie Brazinsky, school conselor at Newton North, won the women’s division in 22 min. 20sec.
