This 5’10” first-year junior has been a pleasant surprise for the men’s ice hockey team. Patrick Donlan leads the team in goals with eight. He is particularly effective on the power play, having scored four times with the man advantage.

Donlan shined in the 39th annual Codfish Bowl played here at UMass Boston. In the first round game against Worcester State, the Thayer Academy graduate found the back of the net twice while the Beacons were on the power play. UMB won the game 4-2.

In the championship game, Donlan scored once again. The goal, however, was the Beacons’ only one of the game, as the team lost to Skidmore College.4-1. Donlan was named to the Codfish Bowl All-tournament Team, along with teammate Brian Sullivan.
